Trevor KilburnTrevor Kilburn

Trevor Kilburn has worked in the securities industry since 1984 where he started out as a junior bond trader for McLeod Young Weir. Before leaving Bay Street in 1993, he was Vice-President and Director for Merrill Lynch Canada Inc., responsible for trading and liability positions for the company's Global Canadian dollar operations. He is now a Partner in Kilburn Ogilvie Waymann Investment Management Ltd.

After receiving his Chartered Accountancy designation in 1986, Duncan then joined the securities industry as a bond trader. He spent seven years at Wood Gundy, where he was Vice-President and Director responsible for Global Government Fixed Income trading and liability positions. He then joined Richardson Greenshields as Vice President and Director of Provincial bond trading. From 1995 to 2000 he was employed at Salomon Brothers Canada as the Vice-President, Manager of Global Canadian Fixed Income trading and liability positions. Duncan then moved to Kelowna in 2001 and is now a partner in Kilburn Ogilvie Waymann Investment Management Ltd.

After graduation from the UWO in 1982, John joined a major Canadian dealer's Investment Banking Group and subsequently moved into the Fixed Income world in 1983. In 1984, he joined Merrill Lynch Canada to trade short term corporate securities, and in 1988, relocated to Montreal to oversee the firm's regional Fixed Income Group. In 1990, John returned to Toronto to head up the Fixed Income Sales Team. Until his departure in 2008, he was actively involved in client coverage in government, credit and structured credit products for Canadian and international clients. In September, 2008, John joined KOWIM to spearhead a market presence in Toronto.
